MAGAZINE FOR ASIAN WOMEN OF COLOR VERSION
BEYOUTIFUL is a magazine created for Asian women of colors.
Colorism is still prevalent in Asia. Asian women majority had a strong desire to be lighter skin than they were. Moreover, the media try to send the same message in terms of 'being white means being beautiful' which has been made Asian women of colors feel unworthy sometimes because they do not match with
the beauty standard of white obsession in their society.
The magazine aims to empower Asian women of colors to feel beautiful, confident, worthy and accepted in their own skin by created skin-positive contents and articles to inspire the target.
This project is a part of MA Communication design, Graphic design
in Kingston university London.
